The availability of the device has yet to be revealed but based on Acer’s press release mid-January is the targeted period for this device to debut if things go as planned. The company will have to release this device as soon as possible while people are still curious about it. Cheap devices with lower specs don’t really perform well in the long run compared to flagships.
Acer Iconia B1 will sport a MediaTek 8317 chipset with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It only has 512MB RAM and 8GB internal memory. The display is decent for its price with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution spread on a 7-inch panel.
