As the name implies, Wi-Fi Direct is a feature that allows devices to connect to each other directly through Wi-Fi, without a need for Hotspot or a Wi-Fi network. Setting up the connection is also not necessary with this feature on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. This means that tablet can use Wi-Fi Direct for photo sharing, contacts or other contents with other Wi-Fi Direct devices.
