How To Fix Galaxy S3 Keyboard Lag Problem

Have you been experiencing some problems with Galaxy S3 keyboard? We have received more than 80 emails asking for help on how to resolve the issue. Fortunately, there problem is not as complicated as many of our readers think and there is no need for a magic solution to fix it. We’ve been trying to replicate the keyboard (I’m talking about the stock Samsung keyboard here) lag problem in the Galaxy S3 and after several hours, we found a trend when the lag would appear.

Try to launch any browser you have in your phone and surf to, at least, three websites. Every time you transfer from one website to another, type the URL or the site address in your browser’s address bar. After that, press the Home button and launch the Messaging app and try to type anything. You would notice there is a delay in your keyboard and if you’re lucky, it would become unresponsive for a second or two.

Another way to replicate the lag is to call any number in your contact list and open the messaging app, the same thing would happen. The thing is, the lag doesn’t seem to disappear. We are not sure if this is the kind of problem our readers have been experiencing but there is a greater chance Galaxy S3 keyboard becomes unresponsive after several months of usage. As for us here at, we always have fresh OS installed because we are always experimenting on our units; installing custom ROMs, replicating problems, etc.
