Blocking/Unblocking Spam Messages on Samsung Galaxy Note 3[How to]


This content will guide you through configuring settings on your Samsung Galaxy
Note 3 device to block incoming SMS or MMS messages from certain number, and/or
tagged them as spam.
Galaxy Note 3 block Spam MMS SMS

Using SMS or MMS message from the spam number:
1. Tap on Messaging from
the Home screen.
2. Touch and hold on the conversation thread from the number you opt
to block.
3. Tap on the Add to Spam
Numbers option.
4. Tap OK to complete the
action.
Using the Settings Menu:
1. To get started, tap on Messaging
from the Home screen.
2. Tap on the Menu key to
continue.
3. Tap on Settings.
4. Tap on the More tab.
5. Tap on Spam settings to select the check box, if
required.
6. Tap on Add to Spam
Numbers.
7. Locate and tap on the + icon (Add number).
8. Enter the number manually or tap on the Contacts icon to select and add a contact number to block.
9. Tap on Save to complete
the process.
If you want to unblock messages from a number on your Galaxy Note 3
device, follow these steps:
1. Tap on Messaging from
the Home screen.
2. Touch and hold on the conversation thread from the contact number.
3. Tap on Remove from Spam numbers option. Doing so will allow incoming text or picture
messages from that contact number you blocked.
Another way to unblock SMS/MMS messages is through the Settings menu.
Here’s how:
1. Tap on Messaging from
the Home screen.
2. Tap on the Menu key to
continue.
3. Tap on Settings to get
to the settings menu.
4. Tap on More tab.
5. If required, tap on Spam
Settings to select the check box.
6. Tap on Register number as Spam option to proceed.
7. Touch and hold on the contact number you want to unblock.
8. Tap on Delete.
9. Tap OK to complete the
process.
