Hint:

The email app by default, will NOT download attachments automatically. This denotes the need for you to manually configure download attachments or modify email settings on your device. And here’s how it’s done:

1. Touch Apps to begin.
2. Touch Email.
3. Select Attachments.
4. Next to the attachment is the Save icon. Touch that icon or touch Save All to download all attachments in the email.
5. Now try to re-establish a connection with the mobile network. Follow these standard procedures:

a. Remove the battery with the device still ON.
b. Wait for 30 seconds and replace or re-insert the battery.
c. Turn the phone ON.
d. Allow your phone to establish network connection for a few seconds.
e. Try to download email attachment this time.

If the attachment is successfully downloaded, it will be saved in this directory or location: My Files ->All files/sdcard0 -> Download.

When you try to view an attachment and you receive an error message saying, “Unable to display attachment,” it indicates that the file type is not supported by the device.

To solve this problem, you need to install a third-party application for opening or viewing the attached file.

If problem persists, continue to step 6.

Otherwise, Try removing the account and adding it back. That frequently solves several problems that would otherwise take time to track down.
