Wi-Fi Direct is a feature that allows devices to connect to each other directly
through Wi-Fi, without a need for Hotspot or a Wi-Fi network. Setting up the
connection is also not necessary with this feature on your Samsung Galaxy Tab
3. This means that tablet can use Wi-Fi Direct for photo sharing, contacts or
other contents with other Wi-Fi Direct devices.

will walk you through configuring Wi-Fi Direct settings on your Galaxy Tab 3

  1. Press the Home button.
  1. Touch on Settings to
    continue.
  1. Touch to select Wi-Fi Direct
    option. Doing so will initiate automatic scanning on your tablet for
    nearby Wi-Fi Direct devices available.

  1. Once scanning is finished,
    choose a device to pair with your tablet.

    option.
