You can configure your Samsung Galaxy S5 to promptly show weather information and keep posted with the latest weather updates, even if it is in the lock screen. To use this feature, you will need an Internet connection or Wi-Fi network connection.

1. Tap on Apps from the Home screen.
2. Tap on Settings.
3. Tap on Lock Screen.
4. From the Lock Screen options, scroll to and tap Additional information.
5. To enable or turn on Additional information, drag the slider to the right. Enabling of the Additional information feature lets your device show information about the weather.
6. Now tap on Weather to enable feature. You should then be able to view weather information on the lock screen of your Samsung Galaxy S5.

Another Additional information option you can enable and use is Pedometer. Enabling Pedometer will let your device show you the steps you take in S Health.
