Top 5 Samsung Galaxy S4 Display / Screen Problems [Solutions Provided]

While
the Samsung Galaxy S4 has one of the most impressive display technologies
today, it is not free of problems. In this post, I will iterate five of the
most common display problems owners may encounter. I also included
recommendations / solutions that may solve each problem.

Issue

The
entire screen is blank; the backlight comes on, but I do not see anything.

Possible Causes

The device’s battery is drained or the device
does not have an adequate charge to power on.

A third-party application has caused the device
not to respond.

or liquid damage.

Resolution

1.      
Connect the charger to the device and allow the
device to charge for a few minutes.

2.      
Power on the device by pressing and holding the
power button.

the device still powered on, remove the battery for 30 seconds. After the time
has elapsed, replace the battery and power on the device. 

Issue

A
black dot appears on the display; colored dot(s) are visible.

Possible Causes

·        
The pixel may be stuck and not dead.

·        
A third-party application has caused the pixel to
appear dead or stuck.

·        
The device has experienced some type of physical
or liquid damage.

Resolution

With
the device still powered on, remove the battery for 30 seconds. After the time

battery for 30 seconds. After the time has elapsed, replace the battery and
power on the device.
